Here at COGA we believe that everyone is a priest (1 Peter 2:9) and should be encouraged to believe in their potential for growth.

Sharing Christ's Love with Our Community
At Church of God Assembly, we believe that the heart of the church is the community we serve. We are not here just to fellowship among ourselves but to extend the practical love of Christ to those in our neighborhood. This Christmas, as we celebrate the season of giving, we want to bring hope and joy to those who may be spending the holidays alone or facing difficulties. Our mission is to uplift spirits, touch lives, and show the love of Christ through our actions.
We know that many in our community face challenges—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—and we are committed to being a blessing to them. As Romans 15:13 says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” This scripture reflects our desire to be agents of hope in our community, sharing God’s love through acts of kindness and care.
This Christmas season, we want to remind everyone that you are not alone. Through the grace of God, we aim to put a smile on someone’s face, to be a light in their lives, and to let them know they are loved and valued. As 1 John 4:19 reminds us, “We love because He first loved us.” It is this love that compels us to reach out, to bless, and to show the true meaning of Christmas.
To all our followers on Facebook and Twitter, we invite you to join us in this mission of hope and love. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those around us. Merry Christmas, and may the peace of Christ fill your hearts this season.

Spiritual Independence
One of the core values at COGA is fostering spiritual independence among believers. We believe that each person is called to develop a personal relationship with God, independent of others. While fellowship is essential, we encourage believers to connect with God on their own, through prayer, meditation, and study of the Word. Inspired by 1 Peter 2:9, we believe that every believer is a priest, with direct access to God, and has the potential to grow in spiritual maturity. Our church values self-reliance in spiritual matters, enabling individuals to be equipped to make their own decisions guided by God’s wisdom.
